The new Vande Metro train, built on the Vande Bharat Express platform, is a self-propelled train set that is being introduced for short-distance inter-city travel.Unlike the Vande Bharat, Vande Metro trains will be able to attain a maximum speed of 130 kmph. The all air-conditioned train is meant for unreserved travel on Indian Railways.

Bhuj-Ahmedabad Vande Metro: Schedule, Stations, Timings
Train number 94802 Bhuj-Ahmedabad Vande Metro will depart from Bhuj at 5:05 AM in the morning and reach Ahmedabad at 10:50 AM taking 5 hours and 45 minutes. On the return journey the same day, Train number 94801 Ahmedabad-Bhuj Vande Metro will leave from Ahmedabad at 5:30 PM to reach Bhuj at 11:10 PM, taking 5 hours and 40 minutes.
The train will stop at Anjar, Gandhidham, Bhachau, Samakhiali, Halvad, Dhrangadhra, Viramgam, Chandlodiya and Sabarmati.

What is Vande Metro?
Vande Metro has been built to offer ‘world-class’ comforts to passengers. The first rake, which will be put into service on Monday, has been manufactured at ICF, Chennai. The Vande Metro has been conceptualized to replace mainline EMUs on Indian Railways. Similar to metro trains, there will be a provision for passengers to sit and stand.
