After the two sold-out shows, fans have no choice but to go for resale purchase, despite the soaring prices. Amidst the nationwide frenzy over tickets, a new ‘concert date’ phenomenon has taken over the internet. A few users have come forward to offer tickets for free in exchange for a good company.
One user, who went by the handle sharma.adityaaa_, claimed on Threads that he has got two tickets for the highly-anticipated concert and would love to take someone out on a date, asserting that purchasing is not an option.

It didn’t take people long to rally in the comment section to grab what felt like an offer they couldn’t refuse.

In a similar instance, another user, who went by the handle ‘Pratham-med’, mentioned that he had two tickets left for the concert on January 19 and was looking for a plus one taker. The internet user, who claimed to be a solo traveller from Chandigarh, further mentioned that tickets would be available at the original prices. His post also ignited a flurry of reactions from Coldplay fanatics as many netizens stormed the comment section with ‘I’m interested’ notes.
