Optical illusion personality test: What you see first reveals how you behave when you are in love – Times of India

As the name suggests, optical illusion personality tests are fun or strange-looking images. They are based on psychology and help people understand themselves better. How can an image help one know oneself, one may think? Well, these images have one or more elements, but upon first look, a person can only see one of them. Depending on what a person notices first, it gives a glimpse of their inner psyche and how they perceive the world.
In this particular optical illusion personality test, which was initially shared on X (formerly Twitter), there are four main elements: van Gogh‘s face, huts in the distance, a woman who is walking, and a man. At first glance, a person can only see one of them in the image and what they see first reveals how they behave when they’re in love.
To take the test, simply look at the image. Now read its interpretation below:
1. If you saw the famous painter Vincent van Gogh’s face…

It means that when you have a crush on someone or you’re in love, you pretend to be busy to avoid your emotions which might seem overwhelming to you. But the other person might think that you aren’t interested in them, and this can push them away thus leaving you alone in the end.
2. If you saw a woman walking in the image…

It means that when in love, you pretend that you are quite carefree in life. However, it is just a mask to cover up your anxiety and fears about love. You do this as in the past, people might have left you and in order to prevent that from happening again, you cover up your anxious side.
3. If you noticed the houses in the image…

Then it means that when in love, you may sometimes pretend that you are all ready to settle down in life. However, it is only superficial. Deep down, you are a carefree person.
4. If you saw a man at the center of the image…

It means that when in love, instead of being your true self, you pretend to be the person your partner wants you to be just to please them. However, one needs to realise that the person who truly loves you will accept you as you are.
