The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on Diwali unveiled its mobile application, NSEIndia, and also extended its website support to include eleven regional languages, to make financial data accessible to investors throughout India.
The website’s language offerings have expanded to twelve, with the addition of Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu, complementing the existing options of English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati.
This enables NSE to connect with investors across different regions and linguistic communities, promoting wider participation in financial markets.
The NSEIndia mobile application is accessible on both iOS and Android platforms, designed to provide users with secure and user-friendly access to market information.
The application’s initial version includes essential features such as index overviews, market updates, trading volumes, Nifty 50’s performance indicators, stock search capabilities, customizable watchlists, and detailed options trading data including calls, puts, and open interest information for informed investment decisions.
Sriram Krishnan, Chief Business Development Officer, NSE said, “This Diwali is yet another milestone in NSE’s ongoing commitment to India’s Capital market. Our new mobile app and the expansion of our website into eleven regional languages are transformative steps towards a more inclusive and accessible financial ecosystem.”
“These initiatives are crafted to empower investors by offering intuitive tools, near real-time insights, and the convenience of accessing market information in their native language. We are proud to bring the markets closer to every individual, ensuring that all investors–regardless of their background–can confidently participate in India’s economic journey,” he added.
