Monkeys with their expressive faces and hands are a source of entertainment for humans. They act similar to their human predecessors while performing some unexpected tasks and amuse us forever. May it be stealing some food, cooking food, or praying in lord Hanuman’s temple, they never go unnoticed and eventually become a viral sensation on the internet. Recently, a monkey in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh won hearts while trying to fly a kite, see what happened further.
A video of a monkey trying to fly a kite in Varanasi has gone viral on social media and has gathered around 452k views so far. This video was uploaded by ‘Dalimss News’, the video shows the primate holding the thread, or “Manjha” in Hindi, and flying the kite with effortless ease. The caption read, “In a sky-high spectacle, a mischievous monkey in Varanasi took control of a kite, leaving locals gasping in amazement. With a natural flair for flight, this little primate might just be the next big thing in kite-flying competitions!”

The monkey’s hand movements look almost as swift as those of human beings, and many users took to social media to share their reactions. One user remarked, “It happens only in India,” highlighting the country’s unique and often surprising viral moments. Another user expressed admiration for the monkey’s talent, commenting, “You have no idea what monkeys are capable of.”
Humorously, a user commented, “Uski chakri pakadne k liye uske paas bandar dost bhi nhi h,” which translates to “He doesn’t even have monkey friends to catch his chakri.” Another user commented, “Monkey be like- Aaj patang tumhara bhai udayega”.

This is not the first time that monkey-related videos have become popular. Earlier, a monkey responding to the chanting of ‘Hare Rama’ and ‘Shree Ram Jai Ram’ had gone viral. In another video, a woman chants in front of a monkey at a restaurant. The monkey listens attentively, appearing to grasp the meaning of the chants. Suddenly it goes very loud chants and the monkey jumps on the woman’s lap and embraces her head shaking like a worshipper immersed in devotion. The video ends with much laughter and affection as the monkey wraps itself around her.
Another story of a monkey, named Rani from a village in Raebareilly has become a sensation, in the viral videos she has been seen performing household chores like washing utensils, this has been really amusing for onlookers. Not only this, the monkey has also embraced the humans as her own family and lives with them in their house as a family member, she had once been stranded by a herd of monkeys who were passing through the village.
