When caught by traffic police, most people react with seriousness or fear, but one woman took an entirely unexpected approach that stunned netizens and officers. Instead of apologizing or arguing, she began mimicking the popular cartoon character Shinchan, even referring to herself as “Shinchan” during the interaction. Her playful antics, captured on video, quickly went viral, sparking amusement and disbelief across social media.

The woman’s playful behavior, including introducing herself in a cartoonish voice as “Shinchan Nohara,” has become an internet sensation. Completely unbothered by the seriousness of the situation, she turned an ordinary traffic stop into a moment of unexpected humor. She boldly announces, “Main hun Shinchan Nohara. Mujhe koi nahi le jaa sakta.” (I am Shinchan Nohara. No one can take me.)
Amar Kataria maintained his composure and professionalism throughout the video. Even when he informed the woman about her list of violations—which included driving without a helmet, going the wrong way, riding without a number plate, and jumping a red light—and the resulting fine, she continued her comedic impersonation, even jokingly suggesting that the officer confirm her “identity” with her mother.
Amid their interaction a passerby stepped in, offering to pay the fine on the woman’s behalf. He also asked the officer to let her go. However, Officer Kataria remained resolute, humorously cautioning her that without a helmet, “Yamraj (the god of death)” might come for her. Unbothered by the remark, the woman cheekily retorted, asking if Yamraj was the officer’s father, and once again declared, “No one can take me. My name is Shinchan Nohara.”
The woman was finally let go after another passerby asked the police to be lenient to her. The woman, never leaving her character, thanked the man, calling him a good samaritan, and leaves the scene without paying the fine. The video has amassed over 12.2 million views, sparking laughter and debate online.
