Donald Trump is all set to take oath as 47th US President in a few hours. The inauguration ceremony is likely to be a grand affair, with Trump and all his secretaries taking the oath. Lara Trump, who is married to Donald Trump’s third son, Eric Trump, gave a glimpse into her fashion choices and what she will be wearing for the ceremony.
Lara Trump stated that Donald Trump gave the executive authority to his family on their inaugural fashion choices because of his trust in their selection. She added that at this point, Trump knows that they will all be dressed the best and has too many other things to give his attention to than fashion. In her post, Lara Trump said, “There are a lot bigger fish to fry than what we’re going to all wear for the inauguration.”
Who designed Lara Trump’s outfit?
Speaking to New York Post, Lara Trump revealed that when selecting her inauguration look, she wanted to match the US flag and kept the colours of the American flag in mind. She said she wanted to focus on patriotic colours without going overboard and feels that she has achieved that.
Lara Trump is all set to attend three inauguration balls and she went back to her Miami-based fashion designer Oscar Garcia-Lopez, who designed the dress she wore at Trump’s inauguration in 2017. She will be wearing a dress designed by him during the oath-taking ceremony.
For Sunday’s candlelight dinner with donors, Lara wore a dress made by the Italian designer Chiara Boni, who also made a gown for her in 2017. Finalising her fashion choices, Lara stated that her other half did not weigh in on her sartorial choices. She revealed that Eric Trump trusts her judgment on her fashion sense because he has probably seen her doing this multiple times.
Lara and Eric Trump won’t be colour coordinating or for that matter one else in the family will not be wearing the same as they are still maintaining suspense on what all the other Trump women will be wearing for the occasion. Looks like it will be a surprise for all on Monday, January 20 when they see each other’s outfits for the first time.
Grandkids ready to celebrate Donald Trump
Lara and Eric will also be accompanied by their children, Luke Trump, 7-years-old and Carolina Trump, 6-years-old. Lara Trump stated that it will be new for her to dress both her children for a grand occasion and their first time to attend a grand ball. Lara when attending the 2017 inaugural function was pregnant with her first child.
She said that both the children will wear very nice-looking outfits for all the dinner celebrations and that she has coordinated their outfits together. Lara also said that the children were very excited to meet everyone as she told them that it was a big celebration for their grandfather.
